Beach Ball/Sewing theme party

What a unique combination, but for this party, this special girl she was having her party at a place called Sew Fun, where you an create and learn how to sew with your friends.
Here are sewing theme inspired cupcakes!
Then afterwards the birthday girl and her friends were coming home to celebrate and cool off in the pool!  So for favors we went with a beach ball theme cake pop!  My first at something like this, but I LOVE how they came out!

Birthday SMASH cake!

For a sweet girl who was celebrating her first birthday, her mother wanted to do a fun and unique approach to her celebration.  Instead of a big party with lots of people they had a photoshoot with my friend Lori Konawalik.  I made a big smash cake that she got to eat and enjoy while getting her pictures taken!  Lori did a great job, here is the birthday cake, LOVE this ribbon effect and the colors too!
Happy Birthday!

Strawberry Picking Birthday Party!

What a cool idea to do for a birthday party, at least if you have a birthday in prime strawberry pickin' time! This cool colorful cake was for a friend whose daugther was doing her birthday at a local strawberry farm.  I based the cake on her birthday invitation, colorful stripes and butterflies, I also added a few strawberries to the cake too!
Happy Birthday Jordan!

Spanish Honor Society

The Spanish Honor Society at Provicence High School has asked me for the past several years to help supply them with treats for their induction night.  This year we went with the colors of the Spanish Flag - Red, Yellow and White and cake cake pops in a BIG bucket with some artificial flowers mixed in.  I have to admit, I think there are probably close to 90 or so in there!
I love how this turned out!
Congratulations Spanish Honor Society!

We can not believe it...our little girl is turning 6!  What happened?  It feels like it was only yesterday I was decorating her first birthday cake, a duck.  (One of her first words was duck...along with dada.)  Who knew I would go from a star tip duckie to a 7 layer rainbow cake!

Well, Happy Birthday to a our little girl!
The CAKE!! Yes I was super proud of this one...so easy to decorate too! Just let the girls do it!!

Wedding Season!

I love weddings and tis the season for them!
I have been honored to make a few wedding cakes over the past few weeks, 4 to be exact...phew...but they each turned out beautifully!

Superman was the theme to the grooms cake.  Not sure how he did this, but the groom proposed to his fiance wearing a superman costume, so what a way to honor that but with a superman theme grooms cake.

This cake can not be appreciated just yet, because the brides flowers are missing, but I was in love with the look of this cake!  Can't wait to see the final product with her flowers!

This beautiful wedding cake I did for a young bride who was married at St. Matthew and had her reception at Firethorne Country Club
Congratulations!

This beaufitul wedding cake was for a friend from elementary school!  Her and I have grown up together, I think we might have been in the same 5th or 6th grade class together, but we stayed in touch through Facebook and I was honored she asked me to make her wedding cake this past weekend.
Congratulations Laura and Vance!

This beautiful cake was for an AMAZING family who I just adore with their 3 adorable little girls.  I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to make their family birthday cakes for the past year.  This little girl was turning 2 this past weekend and I can't believe another year has past!  I made her first birthday cake last year, and it seems like it was only last weekend!  But this sweet girl is the baby of the family and her momma wanted to celebrate with LOTS of daisies, and I mean LOTS!  There house was full of vases and flowers and beautiful decorations!  And this sweet cake was themed around the flowers.
Happy 2nd Birthday Julia!
