I love this theme for a little girls birthday party!

So much to do and so many beautiful designs and ideas to do! This cake was for a family friend who I have been blessed to have done their sons birthday cakes and their daughters baptism cake and now her first birthday!

Big cake for all the guests

Birthday girls smash cake

Cookies as favors for all the guests

Happy Birthday Libby!

Pinkalicious!

For a sweet little girl and her Pinkalicious themed party!

Pink cupcakes with pink sprinkles

and pink and blue cupcake cookies as favors for the guests

and since she was inviting boys too,

we decided that pink cookies were to girly for them

so we went blue "cotton candy" cupcakes instead!

Happy Birthday!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Pannell!

I was honored when a college friend asked me to create her wedding cake. She lived down the hall from me our freshmen year at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and what a year we had together! I won't go into all our crazy, wild and amazing stories we shared that year, but thanks to Facebook, we reconnected and I was able to make her wedding cake this past weekend.

So simple, yet so pretty!!

Their cake topper - again just right!

I took this picture so you can see the height in this room and how she was able to bring her down to earth, backyard, relaxed feel to her reception. These were real trees with LED lights hanging on them. It really looked great as the evening went on!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Pannell!!

Almost forgot the Grooms Cake! Since both the bride and the groom went to ASU, what a fitting cake to have as his grooms cake. And to top this day off even more, March 3rd is the grooms birthday! Happy Birthday Rodney!

Mad Birds/Angry Birds...

A must have app if you have an iPhone or an iPad,

Angry Birds, but as my guys like to call it Mad Birds!

Either way, it's a must have popular app that is mindless but quite entertaining to say the least! The point is to shoot angry birds at silly odd looking pigs and destroy little towers that they are hiding in. Who knew! So when a neighbor whose son rides the bus with my little girl asked me to create this theme cake, I was super excited!

So much fun to make the little figures for the top of the cake!

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss?

We all have read at least one of his books growing up

and my kids have a dozen or so of his books.

We love his books so much, my son's 4th birthday party was Dr. Seuss! Well for those who did not know, it was Dr. Seuss' birthday this past Friday and both my kids had events all week to celebrate Dr. Seuss. On Friday I thought it would be sweet to make these adorable Dr. Seuss theme cookies for the kids to enjoy.

Phew...I did about 4 dozen or so of these cookies....

but they were worth it in the end - so cute!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Look Whooo's Turning One!

Gotta love cute themes like this!

This special cake was for some friends

whose son was turning one.

The theme to the babys room and to his baby shower

that I did the cake for, was owls. So it was meant to be that his first birthday be owls. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the theme.

All buttercream

the plates and napkins were my inspiration for the cake design

Going in for the cake...

YUM!

Happy Birthday Wyatt!

Who doesn't love Super Mario Brothers?

Mario, Luigi and all their friends.

I was asked by a friend to create a special cake for their son who was turning 6 and who LOVES Super Mario Brothers. The theme to this cake was to copy his party decor.

Happy Birthday Sam!

Cheerleading Cookies

Give me a C, Give me a A, Give me a K, Give me a E!

What does that spell? CAKE!

Yes, I know a bit cheesy, but here are some adorable cheerleading theme cookies that I did

for a friend whose little girl is a cheerleader.

Each cookie is personalized with each little girls name.
