Bridal Shower

I held a bridal shower this past weekend for a very dear friend of mine, Ann. She is getting married on May 9. As matron of honor, I offered to help with a bridal shower and it was fun! Here are some pictures of some of the goodies we had!
Here is the cake, a White Almond Sour Cream Cake.
Here is the plate of wedding cookies I made. How awesome did they turn out!!
These are the wedding cake cookies.
A heart shape cookie to look like a wedding dress.
Bridal bouquet cookies, you'd never guess this came from a starburst cookie cutter!
The bride to be will have the last name of Williams, so I monogramed this smaller heart.
A close up shot of the wedding cake cookie.
The bride to be and her matron of honor (me)!
All the bridesmaids, except one.
Best wishes Ann!

Rock and Roll

Here is the Rock and Roll cake I did for a little girl's 6th Birthday this past weekend. The birthday girl was riding in style with a Limo ride for her and her friends to get their nails and such done and "rock out" to Hannah Montana before coming home to enjoy this awesome guitar cake! I made a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Happy Birthday Alissa!!

Busy Week...

I had a very busy week making several cakes for a friend's high school choir. She had over 150 students going to competition in one day, and she wanted to celebrate their success with pizza and cake. I did 4 square cakes stacked with an icing filling, she wanted a chocolate cake, a white almond cake, a lemon cake, and a yellow cake, all with their high school colors and mascot, the Knights. The next cake was for a 5 year boy's birthday. He was into Monster Trucks, so I did my best to create a monster truck, kid friendly design. I'm sure my little boy will soon like monster trucks and such one day! Enjoy!

Baby Shower Cupcakes

Hello all! A friend of mine is having a baby boy in June and several of her girlfriends threw her a surprise baby shower, well it was supposed to be a surprise, but of course she found out. No problem, we still had a good time. I was asked to help with the dessert and since my specialty is cakes I offered to do something sweet. The hostess asked for cupcakes, which ironically was way easier and super quick to decorate! The mommy to be is highly allergic to nuts, so I made sure all products used were nut free, so we had yummy Vanilla Cupcakes and very moist Chocolate Cupcakes both with a light blue icing and white sprinkles. Enjoy the pictures!
