Happy Birthday Nicholas!

Sunday was my son's 2nd birthday. We decided to have it across the street at our neighborhood pool, with an Elmo theme.

I think he liked it!

Wedding Cake

Yet again, I take on another wedding cake. This was for a young girl who had already gotten married at the court house but decided to have a small ceremony for close family and friends. And her reception was being hosted by a dear friend at her house who happen to live right down the street from us. So I was happy to help and provide a delicious and beautiful wedding cake for her.
This is a vanilla 3 tiered cake, 10, 8 and 6 inch

Elmo

Hello all, after a short trip to visit Myrtle Beach I'm at it again with another wedding cake and an especially important Birthday cake, Nicholas' 2nd Birthday on Sunday. But before we left for the beach, I got a call from a mom who wanted an Elmo cake for her daughter's first birthday. I wasn't able to make an big cake because we were leaving but I did make her "smash" cake as her mom called it. And I think she like it. Check out the pictures. I did not take these, my brain was thinking about packing for the beach, so these are courtesy of birthday girls mom! Thanks!

All that was left of Elmo

Happy Birthday!

Three parties in one weekend!! Whoo hoo! Well, we were only invited to two out of the three, but that's ok, two was enough for one day with two tired little people by the end of it. I had three birthday cakes for three adorable little children.
Here are the three cakes ready for delivery.
The first was a Barney cake with a dozen purple cupcakes
The next was an Old McDonald theme cake
with a pig, cow, horse and a chicken
Next is my favorite,
a Blue Clues Birthday to look like his birthday invitation.
Happy Birthday!

Happy 4th of July!

Hooray!! I did it again, another wedding cake!! This was for some very dear friends of ours, Peppie and Narja, who got married on the 4th of July! My husband, myself and our daughter were in the wedding and I was asked to make their wedding cake!! Oh my!! What a crazy week I've had, but it was a success!! The cake turned out great and our daughter was great! I have to admit I wasn't sure if she would be successful in walking down the aisle with everyone looking at her, but she was a hit! She LOVED every minute of it. I even had some time to put together an AWESOME bouquet of cupcakes and flowers for the rehearsal dinner. Next on the agenda are some birthday cakes for next weekend!

Here is the cupcake bouquet.
Here is the cake, they had a patriotic theme wedding cake
Here is me with my cake!
Here is the family, minus Nicholas.
