"Arrr!" says this pirate ship! Here is a 3D pirate ship I created for our neighbor who turned 4 this weekend. The birthday boy chose a vanilla cake with an oreo buttercream filling and chocolate icing. I painted the lines on the ship and created a small cannon with a few cannon balls on deck made with gray fondant.
One minor flaw, if you look closely you can see where the weight of the front end the ship cause the cake to crack, but with a little icing to "glue" it together, you couldn't tell a difference!
