CAKE, Word World Style....

Anyone with little kids who has watched PBS cartoons
has seen this adorable cartoon called Word World.
Try saying that 3 times fast!
A close friend of my husband
asked me to make his sons birthday cake.
Wyatt LOVES watching Word World and what better way than to have a Word World cake!
YUM!
This design is based on the design that Pig in the story makes when he is spelling CAKE.
 To understand the cartoon,
everything in the show is created
using the letters that spell the character or item out.
So CAKE is spelled and shaped
together with just those letters!
Though my kids don't watch it as much,
it is still a cute show to watch
and it teaches some great lessons too!
Happy Birthday Wyatt!!

A Runners Cake!

This fun cake was made for a friend
who was surprising his wife with a special cake.
Her and her friend both love to run
and they happen to share the same birthday.
So her husband wanted to celebrate the two
with a shoe theme birthday cake!  What fun!
 Happy Birthday Dana and Katie!

Gone Fishin'

I have to give credit to Anne Heap with Pink Cake Box on this cake design.  I've made this little fisherman twice now based off of her design.  But what a CUTE cake for a guy who loves to fish!

MONSTER!!

Aaagghhhh!!  It's a MONSTER!!!
Well, not a real monster, but an edible one!
I've seen this idea floating around online for awhile and when asked to help create a special cake for a friends husband I thought of this fun silly cake.  And well even though this was for a February birthday, we went for it!!  I know his girls just LOVED the cake too!  The eyes were cake pops and the hair was pulled buttercream "grass".

Happy Birthday Gavin!
