Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday!
To a dear friend of the family, who turned 55 today, I was asked to me him a small simple golf theme cake for him and his family to share after dinner tonight.

Then I got a phone call around 9 this morning asking for more sweets, they decided to invite a few friends, 15 or so! So thankfully I had made almond cupcakes with the leftover batter from the above cake and here you go!

I did it again, this time I made some yummy vanilla cupcakes in Jumbo cones for a young boy's birthday party at school. They smelled absolutely delicious as I was baking these and the icing smelled oh so yummy as I created each soft serve swirl. (say that 6 times fast!)

Almost looks like the real thing!
Yummy!!

First Birthday Celebration...

Here are some pictures via the birthday girls mom, I forgot my camera!! Anyway, here is a beautiful tiered birthday cake I did for a little girl who had her first birthday this past weekend. Her and her mom share the same birthday, so mom incorporated a big birthday with a butterfly theme. The cake matched the invitation with a tree up the side of the cake with butterflies flying around.

Here is the "smash" cake!
The top of cake was to represent a momma butterfly with her baby butterfly.
Oh, and I did a dozen and half vanilla cupcakes for all the little ones who were invited to the party too!

I finished a beautiful and pink birthday cake for a young girl who was having a party at Inner Peaks.

The birthday invitation matched the cake.
The ring, when turned would light up pink!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentine's Day
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a very happy Valentine's Day too! I was busy this week making cupcakes, lots of cupcakes!

Here is what the kids and I made for their teachers at preschool.
They are not rose bouquets, but cupcake bouquets.
Miniature cupcakes that is.
And they each painted their pots for their teachers.
Then I made some yummy ice cream, I mean cupcake treats
for a preschool Valentine party.
Doesn't it look like real soft serve ice cream?
My kids weren't done painting yet...we then painted more flowers pots for the grandparents.
Each bouquet had 16 cupcakes.
Each pot had their handprints painted on them.
What I love is that from a distance everyone thought,
"Oh, how nice, flowers. Wait a sec...those are not flowers....
nope, there cupcakes! Yum!!
