Happy 4th Birthday Olivia!

Friday, May 7 was my daughters 4th Birthday. For all those moms out there, you know what I mean when I say, "Where did the time go? You were just a little baby yesterday when we took you home from the hospital!" Time flies and what a little lady she is becoming! Well, I was thrilled with the theme and design of her party that we picked. She is a Disney Princess Fan all the way! So we went with a Cinderella'ish type theme to her party and her cakes.

First I made a dozen delicious vanilla cupcakes with pink and purple swirl icing.
Her girly party with her friends from school was on Friday and it was just perfect! We had three girls, plus Olivia and they made Princess wands and Tiara's and played dress up and had a blast! I made a two tiered Princess castle cake for that party with Princess theme cookies
(which I realized I never took a picture of!)

And here is what I created for her parties. The castle was for her Friday party and the Cinderella glass slipper was for her family party on Saturday.
The shoe, for all those wondering, is made of white chocolate and dusted with edible disco dust to make it sparkle!

A fun filled week of cakes and more!

Hello everyone! I had a BUSY week this week, but I'm THRILLED to show you my latest creations! I started off with making a few dozen cupcakes, 12 for my daughter's class party and another dozen for the same girl who I did her horse birthday cake on Sunday. Here is a picture of the horse cupcakes. These horse pictures are edible transfers you can buy online and after icing your cupcake, you slide the transfers off the paper and stick them to the fresh buttercream and instant cute cupcake! They match the same design I made for her Sunday cake.
Then I made a simple Thank You cake for my husband's staff at his box office at UNC Charlotte.
And here is a birthday cake for another little girl who lives near us who turned two this weekend. They were having a Luau theme party.
This is a 9 inch round white chocolate swirl with an Oreo buttercream filling.
